The Jaÿsinia botanical garden is the lung of Samoëns. Located at the heart of the village, it is a truly exceptional natural environment. To explore this place, just follow the small footpath up to the heights of the village, and enjoy the beautiful waterfalls in the garden along the way.

Within the Jaÿsinia garden you can also see the ruins of the Tornalta castle, also known as Montanier Castle (12th century) and a chapel from the 18th century. Both of them can be seen by following the little footpath that winds through the garden. The garden is a place for scientific research, as well as a little slice of heaven where you can come to relax and unwind. It is a must-see if you are staying in the Giffre Valley.
