This route, ideal for intermediate to advanced ski tourers (fairly challenging), combines forested sections, open alpine meadows, and a panoramic finish at the top of the Grands Vans chairlift.
It is recommended to be equipped with safety gear: avalanche beacon, shovel, probe, phone, and survival blanket. Since the route is undertaken at night, it is also recommended to have a headlamp.
