Visitor alert

The Clos Parchet Ecomuseum preserves the memory of a traditional way of life where nothing went to waste and families were self-sufficient in terms of food (livestock farming, grain and vegetable growing) and material needs (crafting all necessary wooden objects, making repairs).

Host portrait

Opened in 1994 by Simone and Pierre Déchavassine, the ecomuseum invites you to step back in time... With the Guides du Patrimoine Savoie Mont Blanc (GPSMB), discover the history and life of the Haut-Giffre in the 1815 Clos Parchet farmhouse, in harmony with nature and the seasons.
