On Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the train station square in Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval.

Get Ready for the Festival! – A Festive and Fun-Filled Day in Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval Join us at Place de la Gare in Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval starting at 10 a.m. for a day of discovery, sharing, and good cheer! Throughout the day, people of all ages can enjoy free entertainment, creative workshops, tastings, sports activities, and concerts in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. As for the workshops, facilitators from the Nature Reserve will offer nature-themed activities, while the Cultural Center will invite the public to discover the art of origami. Les Petites Mains du Giffre will lead a paper-cutting workshop. These activities are open to everyone all day long, with no registration required, for both children and adults. Young foodies ages 6 to 12 can participate in a cookie-making workshop led by Biopain, with two sessions available throughout the day. Registration is required. Visitors will also have the opportunity to discover and taste local products: mountain specialties, artisanal breads, and pastries will showcase the region’s expertise. For refreshments, several stands will offer drinks, burgers, sweet snacks, and crepes throughout the day. Numerous activities will round out the program: an introduction to rock climbing with a guide, an introduction to archery, a used book sale, meet-and-greets and book signings with local authors, reading sessions, video game introductions and tournaments, interactive games about grains and bread, as well as a presentation of the Sixt-Passy Nature Reserve. The atmosphere will also be enlivened by several musical events featuring live concerts throughout the afternoon and evening, blending acoustic covers, gypsy jazz, and French songs. A festive day for the whole family, filled with a variety of activities, meet-and-greets, music, and plenty of great deals right in the heart of the village.
