On August 30, 2027, Morillon–Grand Massif will host the UCI Mountain Bike Enduro and E-Enduro World Championships, two spectacular events contested on timed special stages in the heart of the Giffre Mountains.
The world’s best drivers will compete individually on a course that alternates between connecting stages and timed special stages. Only the times recorded on the special stages will be taken into account to determine the final standings. Set amid forests, alpine meadows, and mountainous terrain, the courses will test the competitors’ speed, endurance, technical skill, and ability to adapt. The races reserved for e-bikes will add an extra strategic dimension, involving the management of effort, handling, and battery life. Held from August 24 to September 5, 2027, at several locations in Haute-Savoie, this extraordinary event will bring together 20 UCI World Championships and nearly 15,000 athletes, both elite and amateur. Open to the public, accessible, and festive, it will offer spectators the opportunity to discover the various disciplines of cycling in an exceptional setting, surrounded by lakes, valleys, and mountains.
