Throughout September, Giffre en Transition will be hosting events and activities as part of the Fête des Possibles, which showcases all the citizen initiatives that are building a more sustainable, humane and caring society.
The Fête des Possibles will take place throughout the Giffre Mountains. This year, Sunday, September 13, will be a special day at the Ferme du Latay, titled: “WARM UP AHEAD! THE GLACIERS ARE MELTING—a day of hands-on and optimistic discoveries in a garden of the future.” It’s a major event bringing together many local participants for a variety of activities: sensory walks, discussions with market gardeners and enthusiasts, workshops on biochar and self-sufficient systems, beekeeping, a photo exhibition, and a musical closing ceremony.
